not sure about that but I would have tried copying the folder from 
~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/Folder-Name
to the same place in the second machine.

yes. select the messages and right click on one of them-> move to (choose the 
destination folder)
or drag and drop the selected messages to the desired folder.
