Using external calendar file with Kontact...

Hi, I'm on a home network and want to make a way for my wife to create ToDos and
Calendar events on her Korganizer window and have me be able to see them on
mine. Doesn't have to be writeable. I tried using the "Add Calendar (local
file)" feature and it said it didn't have access to that directory...even after
I chmodded her std.ics file to 777. Nor would it let me use that path.

What is the easiest way to do this? Ideally I don't want to have to go through
the complex process of using disconnected IMAP and having a local IMAP server.
It seems like I should be able to just quickly add in this other calendar file
into my own list...no?

Thanks very much for any suggestions.
