KMail startup issue

I've noticed that just about every time I start KMail, it gives me a MySQL 
error and I have to close and reopen KMail, at which time it works fine. 
What's the deal here?
I'm on F13, using KMail 1.13.6 on KDE 4.5.5. Do I just need to upgrade to 
F14?
