Hi Johann,
I did the update last weekend - and had big problems to get KDE running. At last I did a new installation of kubuntu and all looks fine. I have /home on an extra filesystem. That had rescued me many times in the past.
KDEPIM run without any problems! I also rely on this subsystem and have nearly 1000 contacts, many many dates in calender and some gig mailspace - no trouble at all.
Greets from Schwabing,
Andi
