correct - after an update/upgrade session kdepim was upgraded and 
Nepomuk email feeder is now there. But insists on
1. either being offline
2. or insisting system busy, indexing idle
3. or stopping indexing at 0%.. and no cpu activity that I can find

have tried removing/reinstalling the feeder, no change. Still no Search 
working
