kaddressbook mess

After upgrading to kdebase-4.7.0-1.fc15.x86_64, I have no contacts.

Akonadi resources has:

Personal Contacts: /home/nbecker/.local/share/contacts/
which directory does not exist

Default address book: /home/nbecker/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf
which has size=0

If I open kaddressbook, and add a contact to 'default address book', I see it is 
added to the file /home/nbecker/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf.  But kaddressbook 
does not show any contacts.

If I add to Personal Contacts, nothing seems to happen.
