"identities" not working properly

One of the GREAT features of the "old" KMail was that that "from" field had a pull-down menu and you could select the "identity" you wanted to use in a message. It appears that feature was not ported over to KMail 2, so people like me who have multiple "identities" have to manually edit the "from" field to get the proper "identity" to show up as the "from" email address. Now, there may be a new way to do this, but I read most of my email via my IMAP account which is NOT subscribed to most of my email lists, so when I try to send a new message or reply to a message from that account, KMail 2 automatically assigns the IMAP address as the "from" address, which, of course, causes mail to bounce or get moderated as my account is not subscribed to the mailing list. My question is this -- how is one supposed to reply or send a new message using different credentials than the "default" in KMail 2 or do I have to step back to Fedora 15 and the previous incarnation of KMail? _______________________________________________ KDE PIM users mailing list Subscription management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-users
