kmail 2: imported sent mails not shown as sent

Hi,

after kubuntu 10.04 LTS system crash I installed openSUSE 12.1 and imported 
tons of mails from my backup mail folder.

Unfortunately, sent mails (which I normally store along with received mails in 
the same folders) have lost their "sent" mark and are shown as "read" now.

Is there any chance to make kmail aware which mails are "sent"?
