KMail freezing

KDE4.8 RC2

This setup used to work for reading mail fine

But since yesterday on the first startup after bootup I can read a 
couple of emails very slowly then it freezes altogether. If I kill kmail 
and start from the console I get this:

akonadiconsole freezes as well, not even showing a gui



I added a Personal Contacts resource yesterday, dunno if that's related.
