Once I - turned off Desktop Search - Deleted the nepomuk db (~/.kde/share/apps/nepomuk) - turned on Desktop Search everything was ok. What concerns me is that it broke *everything* that depended on nepomuk and that seemed to be pretty much all of KDE. Dolphin was failing to launch, kicker was erratically unresponsive. I find it appalling that KDE has become hostage to this flaky alpha quality software, in return for so little utility. So far nepomuk/strigi is still of no use to me. Kmail search is broken. Desktop search only has a trivial gui that returns erratic results. Given how often I have to reset/delete the DB to get things working I don't bother tagging anything. -- Lindsay _______________________________________________ KDE PIM users mailing list Subscription management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-users
