KMail2/Akonadi comes with three local mail resources: - maildir for maildir-only folder hierarchies - mbox for mbox-only folder hierarchies - mixedmaildir for KMail1's mix of maildir and mbox folder hierarchies As Martin notice the mixedmaildir resource does not seem to be available in the configuration for some reason. Nevertheless the migrator appears to be able to create such a resource for the old local mail storage.
