Yes. I'm sure that is what everyone wants...

Btw, I am using kdepim 4.4 at this point still, but with kde 4.7.4.

I'm sure of course that kaddressbook tries to do things right, but somehow 
things goes wrong either during storage or retrieval of the contact 
tags/categories.

For me, a good step would be to a check somewhere before displaying a value, 
and some means for cleaning up those objects, simply to make things bearable, 
even if it would be a temporary strategy while things are improved.
