KAdressbook abandonware?

This is just a query - is there development going on in Kaddressbook? 
The old version (pre Akonadi) had some very useful views, smart ways of 
creating lists etc. Since KAdressbook going Akonadi I have seen very few 
changes and basically no improvements beyond lists working again.

That the lists (for me) go AWOL on every upgrade of KDEPIM is one issue 
that makes me wonder what is going on.
