Connecting to KAddressBook

Hi,

in LibreOffice, a wizzard is provided to make use e.g. of Thunderbird 
addressbook as data source (for mail merge or similar).

However, the wizzard does not work with KAddressBook 4.7.2, no data are shown. 
(AFAIR it worked with KDE3).

Is there a description how to "connect" to KAddressBook database?
