lost functionality of google akonadi resource

Hi all,

I lost functionality of google akonadi resource for a couple of days now. I 
cannot get access to my google contacts and calendars anymore. At first Kontact 
would show an error dialog and report "unable to fetch from the resource" or 
something like that. When you click the OK button in the dialog the whole 
kontact would close. I tried removing and adding the resource from akonadi 
tray application, and noticed that the google resources adding option had a 
recent facelift, but when I click the "Allow access" button on the 
authorization window, an error message shows up: "Parsing token page failed." 
Thankfully, I still have access to gmail accounts through Kmail 4.8.3 but not 
the rest.

Any help will be appreciated. Fedora 17 x86_64 here, Kontact 4.8.3.
