kdepim + owncloud + android

Hi,

I have just updated owncloud, and started to use it for my contacts and 
calendars, so that they can be shared between owncloud, kdepim and my 
android phone (using carddav-sync and caldav-sync apps).

Syncing appears to work well, the calendar resource is synced in all 
directions, and the addressbooks are only updated on the phone, not yet 
pushed back to owncloud, because that produces very bad images for my 
contacts (I have suggested the author of the carddav-sync plugin to make 
it possible to skip images in that case).

The only problem I have is that sometimes, when I edit a contact in 
kaddressbook, my changes are removed shortly after, like if I add an 
image and then an address for someone, the address will not stay. I 
found out that manyally updating the resource from kaddressbook helps.

Do you think that updates takes a roundtrip somehow, otherwise I do not 
understand why this happens.

In any case, this looks to be a sound solution for keeping pim data in 
sync, so thanks to the kdepim and owncloud communities!
