I recall some setting somewhere that would encourage it to > recreate indexes a bit faster? I may have found the virtuoso-t CPU usage problem: it appears to be related to updating a 'saved' search. When checking the indexing completion I used a search of all my emails (about 2GB, I think) using 2 words both in the 'mesasage body". For the last 3 days my email has been essentially unusable - if I chose a email folder it would wait some 10 minutes before displaying the body of a message and after 2-3 messages it would pause again. Yesterday I though about things and today decided to see what would happen if I deleted the saved search, since doing so virtuoso-t time only appears when deleting and moving messages and nothing has happened to stop mail access (good thing, too, as I had several hundred emails that needed handling). So the behaviour may be a function of how I'm doing things or the emails that I receive. I have a lot of mail at 100K messages and maybe 2GB, I receive a lot of 1MB video files and I tend to move them to a temporary folder after looking at them. So - a large database, moving 1MB messages instead of deleting them and a saved 'complex' search - resulting in lots and lots of processing in virtuoso-t. What doesn't make sense is the mysql write activity at the same time. _______________________________________________ KDE PIM users mailing list Subscription management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-users
