Problem Reading Base64 Mail

Hi all,

I receive certain e-mails that come encoded in base64 (from a self-checkout
kiosk) and typically just get one of the following two views when I open the
e-mail in Kmail:
(1) Part of the encoding to give an idea:
Content-Type: text/html;
Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64
Content-ID: "<3ce06042bcaceba102623cc4d670fb8f>"

ZGVyLXdpZHRoOiAxcHg7IHBhZGRpbmc6IDAuNWVtOyBtYXJnaW46IDAuNWVtOyI+PHRyIHN0
....

(2) Alternatively, I see SpamAssassin's intercepted view of it:
Content Preview: "text of e-mail"

 pts rule name description
---- ---------------------- --------------------------------------------------
 1.0 EXTRA_MPART_TYPE Header has extraneous Content-type:...type= entry
0.0 HTML_MESSAGE BODY: HTML included in message
2.2 MIME_HTML_ONLY BODY: Message only has text/html MIME parts
0.0 MIME_BASE64_TEXT RAW: Message text disguised using base64 encoding
0.0 HTML_MIME_NO_HTML_TAG HTML-only message, but there is no HTML tag
2.4 RDNS_NONE Delivered to internal network by a host with no
rDNS

I can read them just fine in K-9 Mail on my Android phone and Thunderbird
shows most of these either as they look in K-9, or I also get the same view as
#2 above.

I thought I saw references to this problem involving SpamAssassin, but I had
this problem even before I installed SpamAssassin. Can anyone help or point
me in the right direction?

Thanks!
Don
