The feeder is indexing the pim data and feeding it into nepomuk, iiutc. I don't know why it should affect the completion, which is done by *querying* nepomuk. The feeder fails to always index contacts as an object recognized by the query kmail uses for the completion. And one would think that if a contact was indexed once, that would be enough if it does not change - but that is not so, things work in a weird, random way ime. Maybe akonadis internal ID is used for something it shouldn't be used for, I don't know anything except that last time there was reliable completion was with kmail 1. :( > On 07/04/2013 08:52, Anders Lund wrote: > > I had completion briefly working under kde 4.10.1, it would > > complete if I typed the full first name most of the time after > > readding my carddav addressbooks. > > > > Now it is not working again. > > > > I still think kdepim should provide an alternative to the mostly > > broken nepomuk completion.
