Fwd: Sent emails not being stored on server

Nobody can think of anything?  I even opened a bug report which was promptly closed by someone telling me to configure my identity to use the remote sent folder - which I have done.  I've tried reinstalling Kontact and Kmail.  I've tried every different configuration I can think of.  The issue persists - sent emails are not being stored on the server.  This is broken!  I would really appreciate some help, please.

Hi

I'm using an IMAP account.  I've specified the server-side "sent" folder as the 
place where sent emails should be stored, but when I log in via the web 
interface they aren't there.  To add to the confusion, I sent an email from my 
phone today and when I loaded Kontact this evening I could see that email in 
the sent folder.  So why aren't emails sent from Kontact being stored there 
too?

I can see them in Kontact by the way - the issue is that they aren't "really" 
there because I can't see them when I log in via the web.

Any advice would be appreciated; thanks in advance.
