Re: Fwd: Sent emails not being stored on server

Well I'm getting a little closer to the source of the problem.  I clicked the little arrow in the corner of Kontact to get popups whenever I'm doing something with my mail.  When I send an email one of the popups say something along the lines of "append failed" and "$SENT not supported".

Does this mean Kmail is using non-standard flags as i'd previously suspected (and if so, what on Earth is the reason for that)?

Can I change its behaviour so that I can get it to play nicely with my mail host?

Finally, why has this only suddenly started happening when it used to work fine?
