Really? Have you filed an issue against ownCloud for that? - and I don't count 
10 minutes on IRC as filing an issue ;) Is this a recent KDEPIM btw?

Yes, a way to reset from scratch would be good. I've run tons of tests between 
oC and KDEPIM - which is of course not a normal use case - but the DAV 
resource sometimes doesn't get that it's not in sync.
