Markdown support in KMail

Hello, all There seem to have been some efforts to support a markdown-like markup in kmail, the attached screenshot has some examples, namely for *bold*, /italics/ and _underlined_. But this markup has not many features and is not compliant with [the most commonly used markdown convention] (http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown).
