The 100mb LAN will be throttling your speed.  I don't know whether
that can cause a traffic jam, but when I upgraded my broadband I
invested in a gigabit router/switch/A/P set.  I've no experience of
Yahoo, so I can't guess whether they are part of the problem.  Perhaps
someone else knows?
