I'm not sure if this is related, but I just caught this in my logs:

A message was received from the server with no job to handle it: "* BYE 
Disconnected for inactivity. " 
"(2a2042594520446973636f6e6e656374656420666f7220696e61637469766974792e20)"
A message was received from the server with no job to handle it: "* BYE 
Disconnected for inactivity. " 
"(2a2042594520446973636f6e6e656374656420666f7220696e61637469766974792e20)"

Seems to have hung after that. Does the akonadi imap provider handle the 
case of server going away or forcing a disconnect gracefully?
