There would appear to be a number of issues with kmail/akonadi in 4.11, and
I am awaiting 4.12 as it is said to include a lot of bug fixes for both
kmail and akonadi.  4.12.1 is out, so I hope that the debian kde team stop 
updating 4.11 and start on 4.12 soon.
