Baloo port / transfer

Given that, as I understand it, KDEPIM is moving to use Baloo instead of 
Nepomuk for a number of reasons I am wondering if there is an easy way 
to replace Nepomuk in an existing installation?

I am on Kubuntu and will install 14.04 when it is released, that to me 
seems like a really good timing to do the transfer.

But how? I think Kubuntu 14.04 will use KDE 4.12.x but have no idea if 
Nepomuk is optional/replaceable and so on.
