Kmail sorting of threads by date and time of latest message

Hi,

in Kmail 4.12.3 I'd like to configure the order of threads such, that the
order of threads is by date and time of the latest message in a thread. In
the grouping & threading config I've chosen grouping by exact date of thread
leader and thread leader to be the latest message.
However, threads are still sorted according to the date of the oldest
message and not the newest one.

What am I doing wrong?
