Version 4.13 Distribution lists (again) not working

I opened a "fresh" bug as I found via earlier discussions that 
distribution lists are again not working as intended/expected:

Try selecting a list as receiver of a mail and you get the following pop-up:
"The email address you entered is not valid because it does not contain 
a '.'. You will not create valid messages if you do not change your 
address."

Workaround: use Select button in composer window. Expand your dist-list, 
mark all recipients and add them as as To/CC/BCC whatever your choice.

Mail will then be sent.

Please assist by adding your distro (if it is the same for you of 
course) to this bug so devs will notice this regression.
