kmail: what variables and filters are available for message header theme design

I would like to know what variables and filters are available for header theme design.

I have looked at the example filters and one of the header themes available on-line, but this only gives me a limited selection. From the built-in themes' appearance, it seems to me there are more available. However, I have not managed to find the defining `header.html` files for these built-in themes.

Even though I prefer to use Kate to edit my theme, I have also looked in the header editor application, but I did not manage to learn more from that. Also, I looked on-line, but only found somewhat general descriptions of Grantlee.


Some secondary, but related questions:

* Is it possible to modify the style of attachment information as presented in the header? (Right now, its background clashes with my chosen background, because it does not inherit it.)

* Is it possible to edit the theme for the whole message, not just the header?

* What rules are used to generate the HTML for plain-text? (Parsed as markdown?)

* Is it possible to edit the style for the generated HTML for plain-text messages. In particular, is it possible to edit the CSS style used for quotes in message texts?
