QT_PLUGIN_DIR is emty:

irk@azid:~> echo $QT_PLUGIN_DIR

dirk@azid:~>

dirk@azid:~> ls /usr/lib64/qt4/plugins/sqldrivers
libqsqlite3.so  libqsqlite.so  libqsqlmysql.so

Is empty QT_PLUGIN_DIR o.k.?
