Okay. Apparently, there is (or was) a qt-gtk-engine for doing the opposite, 
i.e. for using KDE's file dialog in Gnome applications like Nautilus. I don't 
know whether there's a counter part of qt-gtk-engine for using Gnome's 
Nautilus-style file dialog in KDE applications.
