Address Book: Nearly all menu entries disappeared

Hi friends,

in my address book, no menu entries can be chosen.
Menus with sub-menus (e.g. "files") can be chosen, but not the submenues, the other ones (edit, view, tools) only show a black shadow.
"Settings" and "help" are working as usual. 

I guess, akonadie locked some file, as it likes to do - but where shall I look?
