are you referring to this bug:

he mentions (in a language I dont think belongs in bug report) both
office365.com and kolab

I have another imap mail account that works flawless so it seems there
is some kind of imap4 issue with these backends. I will try and add
myself to that bug

Praying this will be fixed as it will be difficult for me to use KMail
for business otherwise
