At various times one or another of them would be corrupted in some way (I have had problems with some unmatched RAM chips), and once that happens there's no way to repair them. Not that I've found, anyway. Not only are the bad messages permanently bad, even through archive and re-import, but I get the distinct impression that their damage causes problems in handling good ones as well, especially during filtering. The only solution I've found is to archive the whole shebang and start again with a blank slate. This is working so far, though it's early days yet. I'll create a new user specifically to operate with the archive - clumsy, but needs must. -- Rgds Peter _______________________________________________ KDE PIM users mailing list Subscription management: https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-users
