KMail has slowly become/has been impossible to use

Hi,

I have two major problems with KMail.

1. KMail creates too many simultaneous connections with the Zoho Mail server 
which forces them to block IMAP access to me.

2. I use web, K-9 Mail, and KMail on a regular basis. If I check my email on 
web or K-9 Mail then almost always some email will never be marked as read. I 
have to delete cache from Akonadi and resync all the email.

Both of the above problems happen several times a day. How am I suppose to 
work in such a situation?

KDE folks kept telling me that my mistake is that I use Gmail. I took their 
hardline and switched to another mail provider Zoho but now I have to deal 
with incompetancy of Zoho too. This is a really stressful situation for me.
