Thanks for your feedback, Francesco! Yes, I confirm that your workaround does 
work also on my system. Apparently it's the "Last Search" folder that 
interferes with a new search. 

Such a bug should be easy to address, I reckon. Does someone know whether it 
has already been reported? I've searched for something similar, but haven't 
find anything. In case, I'll submit it. Let me know.
