My @opensuse.org address is just an alias forwarding mails to another address. 
I then have outgoing identity in KMail and use SMTP server, where I have also 
my domain and web. That hosting server is also running Mailman. It is just a 
standard Linux server. Anyway, I don't have much options to influence settings 
of its SMTP...
