Odd messages from kmail

Hi

Although not a problem to working, i get the occasional popup saying things ( 
i can't remember the message accurately)  like  "can't run another check mail, 
already checking mail".  I tend to get them when launching kmail just after 
login and sometimes on logout after closing kmail.

Have i set something incorrectly to get these sort of debug messages? They are 
only visible for a few seconds.
