Kmail and check for emails on startup

Hi

It seems if you have a few email accounts in kmail2 and one of them is not 
ticked to check for emails on startup in the "Retrieval Options",  then none 
are checked on start up.
Anyone else got this problem?

It seems to be related to the closed Bug 317072.
I have created another one Bug 382102 

I used to get notifications in kmail as it checked each account for new emails 
but no longer - is there a configuration option for it?
