Gmail not working in KDE-PIM 17.08

Hello all,

I've recently upgraded from Fedora 25 to 27. KDE PIM got upgraded in the
process to 17.08.3.

KMail asked for authenticating via OAuth, and I did. Now KMail complains
that the IMAP GMail server is not available, and thus does not sync.

Any ideas?
