KAlarm - no paste after cut

[KAlarm 2.11.14-5 on Fedora 25]

Could anyone tell me how to re-enable cut/paste in KAlarm alarms? I can cut, 
but paste gives me something from a cut in another app, not what I've just cut 
in KAlarm.
