Re: kde-pim dev needed, for a sponsored open source effort, to remove akonadi

i think there are two topics here. one is the subset of akonadi related 
problems that are battery/performance oriented and appear to correlate 
to bugs in its sql handling.

the other is akonadi itself and my request for proposals as to removing 
it in a fork of kde-pim.

i fully admit that if pablo's database concerns are addressed, so that 
the remaining problems with akonadi are not battery/performance related, 
that i may get more traction out of learning c++ and fixing bugs, than 
i'll get asking for someone to create an akonadi-free fork for money.

in any case i'll be thankful for any dev branch that contains akonadi 
related fixes that need testing.
