How to get Kontact backtrace for crash on logout

I think with the update to 17.12.3, Kontact crashes on logout. I have 
difficulty getting a backtrace because drkonqi is closed (due to the 
logout) before I can do anything useful.

How can I get a useful backtrace? (For example, how can I interrupt the 
logout right after Kontact crashes?)
