stream parser failures

Hi,

next installation with defunct KMail (18.04.3):

In the office I had KMail running now for more than 2 years without any major problems using IMAP against a 
MS Exchange Server. Yesterday it suddenly stopped with the server access. It will lose the connection within 
seconds and the .xsession-errors are flooded with such lines:

org.kde.pim.kimap: The stream parser raised an exception: Unable to read more data

Has someone a clue?
