I've found something interesting in akonadiconsole. Under the Monitors tab akonadi_imap_resource_0 lists AgentBaseChangeRecorder, which had akonadi_imap_resource_0 quoted in the Ignored Sessions column. Not knowing anything about the databases I don't know what to make of that, but it does look suspicious.
