This how-to worked as expected. Sometimes it was a little confusing, but I 
managed to switch from MySQL to PostgreSQL.

But that is openSUSE. I did the switch in a VirtualBox system, for my main 
system is Debian. With Debian I did not manage to switch to PostgreSQL.
