BTW, did you check the Fedora forums (I'm sure they must exist)? If this issue started after an update and is indeed due to this update, then you are probably not alone. Maybe someone already found a solution, or maybe a correction is being prepared?

That said, your error can also be the result of a change in the database software, even something stupid as a version change that implies that the server has to be started using a different path.
