Drinking the koolaid eh? :) The colour palette is stored in kdeglobals for a large part, not just the name but also the actual values that are not app-specific. That means you can have unexpected side-effects application A when you customise colours in application B. Something similar, cache-related, can happen with icons (if you're not drinking the breeze koolaid there). R
