I tried to make an appointment in the calendar and never got it to work in 
that doesn't give any reminders.  I think the calendar managed to forget the 
appointment shortly after.  So I gave up on using the calendar; I don't really 
need one, and I wouldn't know how to keep keep it synced to the laptop.

So there may be some data there, with no way of removing it.
